Russell has taken a complicated subject and made it simple, easy to understand, and fun. I would recommend this book to newbies and oldies alike.

I’ve always loved seeing the photographs of Russell Graves and I couldn’t wait for this book to come out hoping that I would pick up some tips that would make me a better nature photographer. I wasn’t disappointed.

Much of the first chapter was a review for me since I have been using digital cameras for a while. But starting with the second chapter, I learned some very valuable techniques to help me take better photos. The photos in the book are beautiful and are excellent to illustrate the concepts that are being explained.

This book is highly recommended for the beginner as well as those that have been at it for a while and just need some inspiration and good tips.
