The book is extremly better than the manual that came with the camera. The book gives a much better discription of all camera operations.canondigiat

I am just getting back into photography after 20 years away from it. This book is very helpful in getting me up to speed on this particular digital camera and a great refresher on exposure, depth of field, metering, etc. For me, it is well worth the price and it arrived in a timely fashion.

Awesome book/CD. It has shown me things that I would have never known/done otherwise. Goes way beyond the OWNERS manual – the manual shows you where the controls & settings are, but does not explain when/where to use them like this book, this book goes into detail of when & how to use all of the various settings. I look forward to reading/exploring new sections of the book and finding opportunities to use the camera and put those new tips into action. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE WHO OWNS THIS MODEL CAMERA!

I wish they would have printed this on better paper and used some ink that was not so light. The light print makes it very hard to read.
All of the illustrations are black and white and about newspaper quality or less
