The illustrations in this book are amazing. I found myself staring at each photograph and imagining this dog enjoying life to the fullest. I bought several to give as Christmas gifts to all my friends with aging dogs in the family.

A friend gave me this book a couple of months after I lost my beloved dog of 13 years, recommending I add a page in the front to celebrate my dog. She had done this for her husband when they had lost their old dog. It is a splendid book that captures the personality and essence of each of the senior dogs – every page is a celebration of their lives and quirky personalities! I cherish this book and will forever – I smile and cry every time I read it!

I purchased this book for my husband after the loss of his/our dog that he had adopted 15 years ago. The book is a beautiful look at why older dogs are the best and hardest to lose. I designed a page identical to those in the book with a picture of our dog and a list of a few of the items that made her life so great. It is a great book for dog lovers.
